For a long time I've done illustrations for the book 'Harry Potter and philosopher's stone'. I wanted to send it to Bloomsbury publishing. So, when I did first 10 illustrations I sent email and asked who I could talk with. However when they replied to me they said that they didn’t need any illustrators at that moment. I was upset. They hadn’t even had a look at my work. An artist can’t be evaluated without his works being seen. I have no longer received any replies from them. I also tried to write to them in Instagram, in Facebook (where it is written that they answer in couple of minutes) but I was ignored . In fact, I think this is a disrespectful behaviour towards a person and his works. I wouldn’t have said anything if they at least had had a look at my illustrations and then wrote a refusal letter. I would have thought that something was wrong and I had to work harder. They lost a lot because my illustrations are pretty cool.
